ARCSOC is the University of Cambridge Architecture Society.

We’re a team of architecture students making things happen and bringing people together. Conversations with architecture’s most exciting and important voices; cult-favourite club nights with thousands of attendants, and parties just for us; packed-out life drawing sessions with models of all bodies, a live-build pavilion; and a weekly radio show of new hits and deep cuts: ARCSOC does it all, and more. We’re even starting a garden.

It all leads up to our big end-of-year exhibition in London, funded, designed, constructed, and run entirely by the student members of our society.

ARCSOC’s annual exhibition is what it all leads up to.

Unique among architecture schools, ARCSOC is fully responsible for the Cambridge exhibition: from fund-raising and venue scouting to designing, moving, building, and partying — our student members do it all.

PAST EVENTS

“Here we arrive at my disbelief that this club night was organised by a student society. It really did feel – as do their website, Instagram and, from what I can see, their other events – professionally organised. Plus, all the profit goes towards their end of year exhibition. So honestly, kudos to them!”

— Maia Walker, Varsity

“Whether silver, tar black, or a repeating strip of caution, for some the tape was the costume. It was plastered on faces as well as chests, replacing objects of security (from helmets to bras) with a much stickier and more flexible material (the next-day removal couldn’t have been easy).”

Sponsor ARCSOC

ARCSOC is funded entirely by our own ticket revenues and donations from our sponsors. Without their generosity, much of what we do simply could not happen.

We would be delighted to receive your support and collaboration for Summer 2024.
